The Schumacher App for the 50th birthday

To celebrate Michael Schumacher’s 50th birthday, Keep Fighting Foundation was giving him, his family and his fans a very special gift: the Official Michael Schumacher App. Schumacher. The Official App is a digital Grand Prix of Memories that adds an exciting dimension to the popular Michael Schumacher Private Collection exhibition at Motorworld Cologne-Rhineland – a journey through time of great depth and with the help of state-of-the-art technologies.

Schumacher. The Official App is a digital museum that honours the career of one of the most successful Formula 1 drivers in history in an unprecedented way.

Schumacher. The Official App illuminates the time that made Michael Schumacher one of the most successful Formula 1 drivers in history, intense and rich in content. It offers racing cars in 3D and their engine sounds, it deepens Michael Schumacher’s statistics and records, shows an interview recorded in 2013 and a virtual tour both through the exhibition Michael Schumacher Private Collection in the Motorworld Cologne-Rheinland and over the historic kart track in Kerpen-Manheim, where Michael Schumacher trained his outstanding driving skills as a child.

The Ferrari Museum in Maranello is dedicating a special exhibition to Michael Schumacher, which has opened on the occasion of his 50th birthday on 3 January 2019. It is both a celebration and a sign of gratitude to the most successful driver of the Cavallino Rampante of all time.

The museum’s rooms are decorated with images from the unforgettable years that the seven-time World Champion gave to all Ferraristi and that have created a legend that is greater today than ever in the hearts of all fans.

The STARBOX in a limited edition of 91 copies, signed by Michael Schumacher, is a special tribute to Michael’s career. The 7 photographs by star photographer Michel Comte, embossed with Michael Schumacher’s logo, stand for Michael’s 7 world champion titles. The 7 photos span a quarter of a century and document the various aspects of Formula 1. They are part of Michael Schumacher’s selection of his favourite pictures by the internationally renowned photographer.

When Michael Schumacher’s first career came to an end in 2006, they had both considered introducing such a compilation; Michael Schumacher personally signed the supplements at the time. However, the project was postponed and now flows into the STARBOX.
